Otherwise known as Giant Tortoise.
- These magnificent creatures have been around for roughly 150 million years, they walked with Dinosaurs and now they walk with us.
- The can live for more than 100 years. If I remember correctly, this specimen is over 120 years old. The oldest ever recorded was 176, also the oldest ever living creature on the planet.
- The sad reality is, they are becoming extinct in many places they reside, eventually, they could be gone forever, one of the oldest living species on the planet next to Crocodiles (100mil. yrs) and Sharks (400mil. Yrs) and many are killed by Humans each year.
- I placed a Rose here to highlight the beauty of them, and add a little flavour to it.
